ShipRush Web - Migrate to v2 Postage

We know the hassle. Call ShipRush, and it is an account issue and we tell you to call Endicia. Call Endicia, they tell you it is a problem in ShipRush and tell you to call ShipRush.

This carnage stops right now.

New in ShipRush Web is "v2" Discount Postage. v2 puts everything in ShipRush. No longer will you need to manage two accounts (Endicia AND ShipRush). Everything is in one place, in ShipRush, and we will never tell you to call anyone else (well, maybe your credit card if they decline a charge!).

There are more benefits listed below.

Remember: Only ShipRush has rate shopping and automation rules. Get v2 Postage set up, and you are on the best (and best supported) shipping system available.

Let's do this migration.

Migration Steps (estimated at 10 minutes or less):

  1. Finish your shipping for the day. Please don't do this when you need labels in ten minutes.
  2. If you are already on v2 Discount Postage, with an accounting starting SR, like SR1234567, skip to Part 2

Part 1 - Required

  1. In Settings of ShipRush Web, select Add Shipping Account (upper right)
  2. Select the top option: ShipRush Discount Postage v2
  3. Complete the wizard
  4. Go to Settings and set the printers under the new account (account type: ShipRush USPS)
     

Part 2 - Required

  1. If you still have the Endicia account, with funds for one or two days of shipping, use up the postage balance and then close it at endicia.com.
  2. If it will take longer to use the balance, close it now at endicia.com and they will refund to you the balance by check in a couple weeks.

Part 3 - Optional

  1. In Settings, click in to your FedEx and UPS account(s), and go to the section "Declared Value Coverage"
  2. Select "Save with ShipRush Declared Value"

That's it!  ShipRush Discount Postage will work exactly as it had before, for all ecommerce and other uses of ShipRush.

To get your balance back from Endicia, go to www.endicia.com and close your account. They will refund you the unspent balance within a couple of weeks.
